For my Goddess
Sometimes the wind doesn't blow
And the days are harsh as the winter nights
You walk through the muddy waters
Under the cool and warm moonlight
You long for a touch that mends you
For you are, my broken toy
And the layers of dust on your face
Show you are still pretty and coy
Encircled by clouds, shadows mirroring in your eyes
You stand revered by men and gods
Arms open, your self up so high,
Rains waiting to fill up the skies
I wait for you, oh warm and pure
Inside my shell, locked in too long
Baptised, tested through rains and storm
Longing for you, for you are my cure
The storms subside, the sky now warm
Looking at us all battered and torn
And the bodies of two lovers under the sun
Conjoin and blend into one
And the days are harsh as the winter nights
You walk through the muddy waters
Under the cool and warm moonlight
You long for a touch that mends you
For you are, my broken toy
And the layers of dust on your face
Show you are still pretty and coy
Encircled by clouds, shadows mirroring in your eyes
You stand revered by men and gods
Arms open, your self up so high,
Rains waiting to fill up the skies
I wait for you, oh warm and pure
Inside my shell, locked in too long
Baptised, tested through rains and storm
Longing for you, for you are my cure
The storms subside, the sky now warm
Looking at us all battered and torn
And the bodies of two lovers under the sun
Conjoin and blend into one
